Colorado was beautiful and now I’m in salt lake city. After the last two drives I’m officially fuckin tired and I’ll take the tiny droppings of whiskey they serve me here so I can relax before my show. The house show last night was definatley a once in a lifetime show. It was in an empty wood room with only about 20 people there and it was all acoustic. Everyone sat so quietly and attentive. It gave me so much freedom to use my actual dynamic range. Singing quiet is an amazing luxery. I enjoyed adding subtle textures to my quiet tones that usually would get missed in a bigger room. Macon from paperbird played bass on a few tunes and their guitar player sat in as well. Tonight in slc I get the pleasure of the cello in my set from the lovely Nirvana who you may have seen play other utah shows with felina’s arrow or on youtube.
