I wrote an alternate version of a song I wrote called utah for jesse lee to do his poetry on top of. We’ve performed this piece together many times in the past in seattle. I am realizing now that the song utah has been recorded 3 times, 3 different projects, 3 different versions. I always prefer new material but this silly song just doesn’t die. The first version was with redfish bluefish performed with china langford and my sister kia on the album sad songs excessively dressed. The second version was with felicia figueroa on felina’s arrow album let me tell you a story. Now it will be released again for the storybox allstar show.
